I prefer the image on the second cover. I do like what they were trying to do with the first image, though, and I do find it pleasing.

Also, the first image looks like a wakizashi to me, not a katana. The blade is too short.

Beat me to it. You're absolutely right. The sword shown is actually a Wakizashi, and not a Katana.

And it's a very short Wakizashi at that. (Compare the length of the blade to the length of the grip.)

I seriously wonder what is up with the RJ silhouettes. I'm always curious as to what he's wearing. This latest one makes him look kind of lumpy, and what's he doing with his hand??

Maybe potential readers will be as curious as I am to find out just what the heck Jack's doing. And we never did find out what was in the suitcase.
