Right now the only time I remember Jack carrying a briefcase is the part in Legacies where he has to dress up in a suit to sneak into the building. I think a briefcase was part of the disguise. I don't have a copy in front of me right now so I have no idea, nor can I recall any other appearances of the elusive briefcase.
