Maggers Wrote:Saw TROPIC THUNDER today. I have one word....HILARIOUS! OMG I haven't laughed that hard and that often since I don't know when. I saw it with a diverse group of friends in a packed Times Square theater, and we, along with the rest of the audience, went wild. There was even applause at the end. I loved this movie. I'm watiching a commercial for it and it makes me want to run out and see it again right now.
You will enjoy this movie, I guarantee it.
Al-Dog Wrote:I’m in agreement with Maggers on this one. I saw Tropic Thunder at an advanced screening last week and I thought it was the funniest movie I’ve seen in a while.
Maggers Wrote:One of the local TV talking heads who reviews movies said that his wife kept elbowing him because he was laughing so loud and hard that she couldn't hear the next lines. That was true for us, too, especially with Robert Downey, Jr., who has some terrific lines. He is soft spoken here and was at times hard to hear over all the howls of laughter.
) I never caught the names of the other two guys in the platoon, but I'll tip my hat to their performances. Had to be hell acting with so many stars.

The trailers don't really show any good laughs, mainly focussing on RDJ. I defintiely want to see this film though!
