I watched this tonight. Now the copy I had was a bootleg that I borrowed, but it was a pretty decent copy. I missed some of the lines, but overall it was pretty damn funny.

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when
Ben Stiller threw the kid off his back while running over the bridge.
That was friggin' hilarious!!

And which guy was Tom Cruise? Like I said I had a bootleg copy...it took me awhile to realize Robery Downey Jr was the black guy.

I also nearly collapsed at that scene! Hilarious!

Tom Cruise was
the nasty, hairy, studio executive
. Much as I can't stand Cruise, he was pretty damn good in this.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

Yeah, I ended up looking on imdb to see who Cruise was. Yeah, that was a great performance. I'll have to watch it again with a real copy (once it comes out on DVD) to really get a good feel for the picture.

The whole movie was amazing...laughed so hard it hurt (and I am one of those "loud" laughers).

New respect for RDJ and Cruise. RDJ had one hell of a summer!

Yesterday was the opening day, so today I saw Tropic Thunder. Now this is one of the best comedy films as much as Hot Fuzz. Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black.....Holy s**t! I couldn't stop laughing! Especially, Robert Downey Jr.'s acting was funniest. :xd:

My favorite scene was
Ben Stiller threw off the kid while running on the bridge. OMG! That kid's stabbing Ben's back!
My butt almost fell off from seat!

I didn't realize that was Tom Cruise! Hahahahaha! What a guy!

In some ways, may favorite part was a subplot that was left out. In any other movie, there would've been some sort of romantic subplot. It probably would've occurred between Stiller's character and the cute, English-speaking mother of the little Asian toddler. Of course, such a subplot was unnecessary and distracting so they didn't put it in the film. And I loved that.

Also, I really liked
Stiller killing the cute little panda bear and wearing its skin.
We watched Tropic Thunder tonight. The scene on the bridge was hysterical. Jack Black was a typical
spoiled drugged out Hollywood type.
. But Tom Cruise......now I hate him.....but his role as
the director was fantastic. Even his dancing at the end to the rap music
.......it had us laughing.

Best line
You have hands?
I loved this movie. A lot.

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

I laughed my ass off from the first fake commercials and previews until the end.
