I agree with most of the lists here, but a movie recently released on DVD that I really loved was "Lars and the Real Girl"... the packaging was terrible.. it looked like porn, and anybody that would rent it would be very disappointed, and anyone that would love it, would take one look at the box and never rent it. Its a very sweet movie.

Welcome aboard. Hope you brought your sunscreen; it's awful bright in here. Good to hear about Lars and the Real Girl, I thought Gosling was excellent in Half Nelson, although the movie itself was rife with plausibility problems.

Add Dummy to your list. Excellent little flick about someone who can only communicate to most people through his dummy starring Adrien Brody and Milla Jovovich. Someone called me a dummy today and it made me think of it. Proverbial silver lining, eh?

Speaking of Underrated Romantic Comedy, has anybody seen "Stuck on you"?
It's Farrelly brothers film.

Bob and Walt Tenor are twin brothers. But they're Siamese twins. So when they are dating....Big Grin

I saw Lars ATRG today...it was very touching. Not really a romance, although there is certainly a romantic subthread. It is really more of a psychological-healing memior with romantic elements.

It was nothing like what I expected. Some of the performances are outstanding. I highly recomend it.

I personally LOVED A Fish Called Wanda, Nine Months, The Truth About Cats and Dogs, and A Walk in the Clouds. The last isn't really a comedy, but it is AMAZING!!!

A FISH CALLED WANDA is definitely best comedy film ever, no doubt! I can watch this without Japanese subtitles. :cornut:
