If you prefer, instead of posting a whoops as a completely new post, you can simply go back to the erroneous post and click the Edit button at the bottom (next to the Reply button). It will let you edit your post and, in the case of your message with BTW, you could have changed it to BTS.
No one would be the wiser. The only tell-tale sign that the post was changed would be a little message that says [SIZE="1"]LAST REVISED [DATE TIME][/SIZE] at the bottom left of the post (assuming that your edit takes place more than a minute after the orignial post...if it is edited within a minute of being posted, then no LAST EDITED message appears at all).
I hope this wasn't to redundant.
