That cover looks old and worn. Is that just the design or is that a scan/photo of an actual worn cover from an old edition? Not saying I don't like it, just curious.

I think you told us before Paul, but I can't remember and didn't find it when I looked...

I this re-release of Black Wind an Author's Preferred Text?

FWIW, it seems to me that cover may do the book a disservice, as it implies that the 'Black Wind' is somehow related to a nuclear explosion. It struck me that way, so I asked a few folks who'd never heard of Black Wind what they thought, and got the reaction from all three of 'Somehow the bomb produces a black wind?'.

(BTW, for me finding folks I know who'd never heard of Black Wind was not a very easy task.) Smile

Cool. I'm glad this is finally getting reissued. I agree that the cover is ambiguous and perhaps a bit disturbing.

I read a library copy years ago, so I dont remember the cover. I only remember what was on the inside.
