Why would wikipedia ban us for updating entries?

That's what wikipedia is there for!

I think it's most likely that in 12 months time there will be numerous changes to any articles that we upload to wiki - that's the nature of the beast. But at least there'd be an article to interfere with, at the moment there is next to nothing.

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."

I hate coppers.

Well my points are roundly ignored and perhaps rightly so. I just don't like the way they do things and they feel they are the be all, and end all of on-line encyclopedias. I'm currently re-reading the Adversary/RJ cycle of books (but can't find my copy of "The Barrens and others" damn it!) If I can be of assistance let me know, I'm far from being an expert as many of the people on this forum are but I'd be glad to lend a hand in the endeavor.

Does anyone think that "Artifact", though a collaboration, has a place in the cycle? Also I'd like to see some type of deconstruction of the Otherness/Ally as it relates to the Cthulhu Mythos' enigmatic, inimical Outer Gods/Great Old Ones. Any thoughts on developing this idea?

Not ignored, Tenster, just requested for development by the site-gurus here, if they can find a way to wiki-up our favourite message-board. Smile

If we can, eventaully, create it collaboratively here, we won't have to worry about editorial vagarities at Wikipedia and can just link from there to ours.

In the meantime we can begin working with those tyrants over at Wikipedia.

The LOL Bible cat people (from another thread) have their own wiki like structure. How can we get one too?

Abe's raised eyebrows caused furrows in his extended forehead. "Five in twelve hours?"
"Oh, and like you've never had a cranky day?"
