SPOILERS

Ugh! It was terrible. The audience was groaning with every new flashback and was outright laughing at the movie's big, dramatic finish. What a waste of my hard-earned cash.

That's disappointing. I was looking forward to seeing this one.

Me too. Oh well, I'll just throw it in the queue.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

Well then, you two are going to have to make a choice, because now a second person who saw the movie is going to say "I LOVED IT!"

Because I did. A lot, in fact.

Great acting, good plot, some nifty twists and turns, and a movie-stealing performance from Forrest Whitaker all made for a tasty suspsense thriller.

Wasn't this movie's premise from an episode of 24?

Today I went to a theatre see Vantage Point, and.....I enjoyed it!

Start....stop...rewind....start.....stop....rewind.....start.......It reminded me of "Run Lora Run" and "Re:Genesis". Big Grin

Forrest Whitaker's played good Samaritan. In this cruel world, I liked his character.

I just finished watching Vantage Point. I liked it. Dennis Quaid did a great job as one of the Secret service agents assigned to the president. No spoilers here.....but some of the best chase scenes I've seen since the Bourne movies. Matthew Fox from LOST, Forest Whitaker and William Hurt were also good in their roles.

Yes, there was the re-wind effect to the movie, but each time you learned more of the what and the why of the many things that were happening.

I did think the ending was too pat...but that's Hollywood for ya.

i saw VANTAGE POINT a few weeks ago and while it kept my interest enough to watch it all the way through, I didn't feel compelled to post about my experience, which is unusual for me and movies.

I saw the major plot twist
(Michael J. Fox as bad guy)
from about 3 minutes into the film. It had a "Rashomon" feel to it, the same thing seen from different vantage points throughout the film.

VANTAGE POINT was borderline bad.

Poor Sigourney. She hasn't been well used lately. She was more or less lost here.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I have it in my Netflix queue.

Does Matthew Fox pull off any good Jackfaces?

A few, but I found him very "cold" in this film. I don't want to spoil it for you.
