I rely on looking adorable and being sweet to get what I want- if there's one out there I can get my mitts- I mean, my darling little hands on, it'll happen Wink

methinks I need to start chatting up all my indie bookstore buddies again and getting back on some of the ARC distribution lists. I used to love getting them in the mail, having something new and interesting to read all the time and all for a simple reply card with my thoughts on the matter. too cool.

FPW you don't need another proofreader, do ya???? Big Grin

I don't get it. Is that a Lettered Edition or a reguler ARC? Either way they're both still available on Gauntlet's site and for much less.

I'm neither adorable nor sweet, so if you know how I can get on one of those lists, clue me in! I've spent A LOT on ARCs of FPW's.

The ARC will be niether numbered nor lettered. It is a paperback version, the guantlet ARC will have the Guanlet cover. The reason people pay a premium is that you can get it now, as oppossed to waiting for the publication.

They don't necesarily hold their value, but if you absoloutely have to own it now.......................

Somehow I confused it with the signed and numbered editions.

Here is a new listing for the Secret Histories ARC on Ebay. The thing I find amusing is they posted the front cover (also attached here). And what does it say on the front cover?

$149.95? Never happen. That first one that went for $360 was a fluke. Don't bid. 450 of these will be going out to indie booksellers in a week or so and they'll be popping up all over the place.

Or go to Gauntlet & get the signed limited for $55 - Not sure when it ships, but the site says February

The Gauntlet version has a way better cover Wink
