I thought Jin's scenes were flashbacks and Sun's were flashforwards, if only because he looked younger and I've just come to think what I'm not supposed to think about this show. I figured the panda was not for his baby.

I think Jin is still on the Island. I think Jin's memorial is a token, a place for Sun to go to and continue whatever charade is required of all the Oceanic 6. I imagine Jin is supposed to be one of the many Oceanic non-survivors who didn't make it where the Oceanic 6 did.

Little Ji Yeong (if I spelled that right) must have been born before Hurley began his sojourn in the asylum.

Congratulations to everyone who thought Michael was on the boat. I thought it was too obvious, but, it just goes to show ya that LOST will always do the unexpected, which, in this case, was to make the most obvious choice for who was on the boat actually BE the person on the boat.

So where's Walt?

He says the newspaper clipping said a man from New York and he thinks Michael is the only person who was from New York.

I've posted about this before. I don't know if you get this in the UK, but we can see "enhanced" versions of each episode the week after they air. The enhanced versions have "pop up" information about some of the events unfolding on screen. In the Season 3 Finale, which deals with the funeral home visited by Jack, the pop up mentioned that "there is a rumor that the newspaper article refers to a man from NY." I don't know if we can extrapolate anything from that, since the writers didn't confirm or deny the rumor. They just confirmed that there was a rumor.

Given that Michael has returned and seems to be up to no good (as far as the coming attractions will have us believe), then it could very well be Michael in the coffin, if, indeed, the person in the coffin is from NY. The only other NY person on LOST is Rose, and no one would consider Rose "neither friend nor family," besides, she'll probably stay on the Island forever.

Great episode. Especially the end with Michael (Kevin Johnson? where did he come up with that name i wonder? it must have some relevance) As far as Sun and Jin, the date on the tombstone is the same date that Oceanic 815 went down, so she must be part of the Oceanic 6 charade.

But who the hell is in the damn coffin!?! I still think it's Walt...

Yes, this is the case.

I was wondering if Jin's death was faked also. Or did he give his life somehow in order to save Sun and the baby? Is he the person who dies next week?

Notice also that the date on the tombstone was Sept 22, 2004 - the date of the plane crash.

My first guess is Michael, second guess is Locke

...The one thing that didn't sit right with me..... When Sun answered that no one else was coming to Korea to see the baby, Hurley replied "Good." Why?

Hurley has been clearly uncomfortable with anyone from his Island past since we discovered the existence of the Oceanic 6. He didn't seem thrilled to see Jack while shooting hoops (or Charlie as a ghost, but then, who would?).

Why would Hurley be uncomfortable? Hurley has a hard time lying. He's a really honest soul, and it seems his Oceanic 6 life is nothing but a lie.

Consider how easily he was "Scooby - Doo'ed" by Kate in the episode where she takes the food to Miles. I was surprised Hurley carried off the bluff orchestrated by Locke where they supposedly left Hurley behind in Ben's house.

Hurley not upset by not seeing any of the other Oceanic 6 reminded me of how less than eager Jack was to spend time with Kate and Aaron. Jack and Hurley have a basic honesty, I think, that seems to be at odds with whatever they had to do or promise to get off the Island.

Without going to another source, I figure that Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, and now Sun have been confirmed in the show as an Oceanic 6'er by someone in the show referring to them as one of the Oceanic 6 or they self-identified as one of the Oceanic 6.

Michael is not quite an Oceanic 6 member yet because he hasn't been referenced as such in a flash forward, and we don't know if he ever really gets away. It seems as if he's only gotten as far as the freighter, where he hasn't been truthful about his identity. But we just don't know his full story yet.

I suppose one could make a case for Aaron as being one of the Oceanic 6. But he wasn't on the roster; a ticket wasn't purchased for him alone. So I guess I'd consider him one of the Oceanic 6.5.

Jin has to be dead. Because if he wasnt then he would have been there for the birth of his child.
So he has to be dead.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but how do you think the Oceanic 6 explain themselves? Meaning, a plane has been found on the ocean floor with the bodies of all of the passengers. Does the rest of the world just forget that? How do they account for the extra bodies on the plane if they "escaped"?
