Paul R Wrote:A couple of things I noticed from 'Confirmed Dead'...
When Hurley mentions where the shack is, both Locke and Ben exchange a look which (to me, at least) says, 'How the hell does he know about the shack?!' I think this adds credence to the theory that 'The Face' that looks out at Hurley in 'The Beginning Of The End' is not Locke's.
You may be on to something. But perhaps the person in the cabin is Walt.

Quote:The other thing was twice in this episode, when asked about the number of people in the helicopter, the answer given was 'Four, including me.' Pretty much word for word, if memory serves. The first was Dan, the second Charlotte. Seems like the only reason this would be driven home to us, would be to put us off the scent. In this case, the scent being that maybe more than four were on the herlicopter?
Just my two cents.

You could be right here, too. Good LOST thinking, Paul. Wink

*SPOILERS*

So what did we learn this episode? We know that time on the island is different. We know Sayid is working for Ben. Does this mean Kate is too? Did Jack refuse to help which is why he's lost it and the others haven't? What was with the wrist band that Sayid was so interested in? And who was the man that Sayid killed on the golf course? That man didn't seem to know who Sayid was before he mentioned it.

Wheels within wheels.

Was the bracelet on Elsa the same, or just like, the one from Naomi?

Not sure but they looked alike.

It makes me rethink if it was Ben in that coffin.
hmmmmm

cause we dont really get a good timeline for the future scenes.

When is it that Jack went to the funeral? How long after they are rescued?

I guess there is still a chance it could be Ben. Seeing as how they still want him.

It says that the person sitting in the rocking chair when Hugo looked in the window was Dr. Christian Sheppard ... Jacks dad

Right. What I'm wondering is who is the guy? Is it possible Ben is having Sayid assassinate members of the Dharma Initiative?

I've always thought it was Ben in the casket. But there are so many variables on this show that there's just no guessing right now.

We know it's after he visits Hurley in the psychiatric hospital because in that visit he tells Hurley he's thinking of growing a beard. But that's not all that helpful in terms of placing it in real time.

Of course, we now know for sure what I've said all along...IT'S TIME BABY! Time on The Island is whacked.

Finally, I can say I'm right about something on LOST.

Yes, that's been discussed here. Go back to post #69 or thereabouts.

Also, I've suggested this many times, go to abc.com and check out those mini-videos they've made for the show. They are not outtakes. They are new videos created for mobile phones or some such. Jack's father figures prominently in one of them, so does Walt, though you don't see him, he is just referred to by Ben and Juliet. And the clip about the rabbits is critical, I think.

SPOILERS FOR LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE, #3 OF SEASON 4

Maybe it's because I'm heavily drugged (post surgery on my knee) but I thought last night's episode was so sad. I was so upset to see that Sayid and Ben are in cahoots and that Sayid seems to have become a post-Island assassin. Man, that's just depressing.

Also, maybe it's the drugs, but I am getting pissed by the writers constantly raising more questions and taking turns that we could never, ever think of. There's just no way anyone can get to the bottom of this show before the show ends. Generally I enjoy that, but this episode pissed me off.

Let's blame in on the pain killers.

That's what I was thinking. That cagey Ben is a few steps ahead of everyone, what with that enormous spiffy wardrobe he's been keeping behind closed doors.

I think Ben is desperate (though you'll rarely ever see him sweat) to get rid of the people who want to get him. So he's gotten off the Island, but he's not one of the Oceanic 6, and he's commanding Sayid with his own "List of Adrian Messenger."
