I see no "real" difference.

Well I guess that's one of the things that make people unique in this world. We don't all have to agree on the same things, have the same hobbies, like the same movies or actors, etc. etc. Just as long as people understand that and respect that...as long as what one person does is not illegal then it shouldn't matter whether or not someone else thinks it is immoral.

I don't understand the appeal of it-but when I used to go to the horror film shows some years ago I found it disturbing how many of the film fans were "turned on" by films showing screaming naked women being strung up and being molested. Perhapes a real psychological study is in order.

Aren't some legal things despicable?

Biggles Wrote:"Vacation"? I've heard the word before. What exactly is this "vacation" you speak of? A God? An MSL soccer team? A treatment for jock itch, hemorrhoids, or that "not so fresh" feeling that I'm told women sometimes get?

At B&N, Biggles, they insist--=insist=, I tell yez!--the little lambs take what they style "vacation days." Two years ago, about, one guy on my floor said he'd rather work and get the coin for that "vacation" time. New baby, y'see. Well. That kite didn't fly too high. The Store Manager cornered him, whiffleball bat in her hands. Beat his head in like a rotten Halloween pumpkin while the assistant managers cheered her on.

If he'd been one of my Performing Arts staff, I would have intervened. Would have =had= to. But he was a History guy, so I just bit my knuckles 'til tooth met bone. Told the Valued Customers, "Let's move along. Nothing to see here."

You've got to =choose= your fights. Ain't that correct, Biggles?

You may think so and I may think so...but as long as it is legal to do so we should not judge a person because of what they choose to do. That's pretty anti-American if you ask me.

I'm coming in late here, but I have always been disturbed by violence against women in the media. The rape scene in "young Frankenstein" over 30 years ago ruined that film for me. I find it despicable that Mr. Brooks and MS. Khan (spelling) would imply that once the the deed is done, all is forgiven if the dong is large enough.

I watched Hostel 2 the other night (one of my Soldiers let me borrow it) and I would not classify it as torture porn at all!!

1. There was no porn (no sex actually), but there was nudity.
2. The torture in the movie was "mild" compared to the first film (except the end of couse...can we say OUCH!)
3. There was some violence in the film that may disturb some people...one scene in particular (I'm sure anyone who has seen it knows what I am talking about)...but unfortnately it is something that does happen in life, even if we all wish it didn't.

The ending was actually creative and surprising...I did not see it coming at all. All in all a decent movie and a lot better then the first one.

Oh and yes...this was the unrated version I saw.
