Saw it today, LOVED it, and I have only one thing to really say about it:

STAY AFTER THE CREDITS ROLL!!!

Definitely. It sets the stage for upcoming Marvel films. Also, look for Robert Downey Jr to make an appearance in next months Incredible Hulk as well as Samuel L Jackson if rumors are correct.

Saw it on Thursday and loved it. The crowd was really into it as well. I rank it up there with Batman Begins, Spidey 2 and X-Men 2. It's a lot like Batman Begins in that both heroes have no super powers, the movie is driven primarily by character rather than action and the supporting cast is stellar. Another plus is that it wasn't too action heavy and dependent upon extended, loud CGI heavy sequences like Transformers. But when the plot called for action it delivered. Had they overexposed the audience to a lot of action pieces it would have taken away from the awe of watching IM in action. Downey absolutely made this movie though. He is so pitch perfect as Stark and he just shines in the role. I'll be seeing it at least once more this week.

Cthulhu for President!

Why vote for a lesser evil? I can think of none better than the great old one, who should return from his slumber to take over the U.S. government and make this country a whole hell of a lot better as the leader of our executive branch. Or destroy it and drive everyone insane, kill us all, or something really nasty! Remember, Cthulhu for President, why vote for the lesser of two evils? Wink

The first half was really good. Second half not so much. Well worth seeing. Gonna pass on the Hulk. Looks like a CGI mess. My phews are all excited for the Indy movie after watching the trailer.

I've got Iron Man on my schedule for next Saturday...and the week after will be "Prince Caspian"...I've been a Narnia fan for as long as I can remember, and the guy they cast as Caspian looks just the way I've always mentally pictured him.

I took one of my sons... and we both loved it. Best superhero movie in a long, long while. Great acting and a solid story. I didn't see any fatal flaws in the characters' actions that were horribly detracting, like the many I saw in Batman Begins.

It's not perfect, no movie is. But, it was well worth seeing and I will be buying the DVD for sure.

I didn't stay after the credits, but I found that little surprise on YouTube. Nice.

I saw Saturday. It was better than I had expected as I was never into Iron Man that much.

Have to say that the new Hulk movie looks stupid. Again I was never into the Hulk, but this looks just as dumb as the first one. Edward Norton seems to be the only good thing about it.

Me and my son LOVED it.

He gave it a 9 1/2 out of ten, which is a 20 in everyone else's book. Smile

Seem to recall, Dawg, awhile back I asked the gang which Avenger would you =least= like to fuck with. And you answered, The Vision, he's got too many ways to beat you. And Paul, with a =curious blind spot=, made mock of spandex-wearing heroes...

Well, Iron Man don't wear spandex!

Yeah, the Vision is the worst in my book. Plus that ice-cold robot thing gives me the willies!
