8.5 out of 10 on IMDB (with only 750 respondents). (Spiderman2 has 7.8)

89% Fresh on RottenTomatoes.com (19 actual reviews, 17 positive).

Looks like the only thing that lets down is the ending (a little).

A tiny but interesting glimpse as to what went into making the Special Effects for Iron Man.

I accidentally dropped a load of worthless change in the street. I was going to just leave it there but a burly policeman lumbered towards me and said, "You'd better pick that up, son."

I hate coppers.

My family went last night and said it was amazing. Some of the SFX were on the same level as Transformers.

I liked the movie a lot. And if it hasn't been said .... stay through the entire credits.

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Aaaaaaaaaargh! Now you tell me!

Well, I'll have to wait and see the tidbit on DVD, since I rarely go to theatres at all (only twice a year or so). The last movie I saw twice in the theatre was Batman Begins and before that Return of the King. While Iron Man is very good, it is definitely not BB or ROTK.

Iron man, Iron man
he can do what spider can...

Part of a jingle someone in my class made up during the "computers and you" class. He got a detention

"Lord, what fools these mortals be"

"The opposite of war isn't peace; it's creation."

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

... and throw in a little Particle Man also:

Particle man, particle man
Doing the things a particle can
Whats he like? its not important
Particle man

Is he a dot, or is he a speck?
When hes underwater does he get wet?
Or does the water get him instead?
Nobody knows, particle man

Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates particle man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man

Universe man, universe man
Size of the entire universe man
Usually kind to smaller man
Universe man

Hes got a watch with a minute hand,
Millenium hand and an eon hand
When they meet its a happy land
Powerful man, universe man

Person man, person man
Hit on the head with a frying pan
Lives his life in a garbage can
Person man

Is he depressed or is he a mess?
Does he feel totally worthless?
Who came up with person man?
Degraded man, person man

Triangle man, triangle man
Triangle man hates person man
They have a fight, triangle wins
Triangle man
