Also - Virgin Atlantic usually has VERY good fares this time of year - I just got a flyer from them for a $178 one way from EWR/JFK - granted that doesn't include all the extra fees - and you will have to swim back....

I suggest you all come here, to beautiful, sunny Kuwait. In September the temperature will be a pleasant 120-125 degrees F and the sun is always shining...except at night.
You can see native camels, native palm trees, and natives. Drive at break neck speeds because if you don't you will die and then slam on the brakes because the speed camera is coming up (there are signs posted approx 500m before the camera telling you there is a camera). Enjoy blasting wind and sand storms where the sand is blowing so fast and hard that it actually hurts and leaves marks on your skin. We can even take a trip into the desert and visit one of the numerous Bedouins camps and discuss RJ with them...come on it would be fun!! (I should work for a travel agent...I rock at this)

Sweetie & I plan to be in the UK for 2 weeks in September and would love to get together with any board members during our visit. The only limiting factor at this time is that we must depart the UK on Sept 26 (work, dontcha' know).

Late Sept is usually when I go to the US... but, who knows?!
Cpt K - I ran into some Kuwaiti's at the airport a couple months ago (one was a stewardess for Kuwait Airlines) and they all said they LOVE Americans for preventing their annexation back in 1990! The Stewardess said, "Please come visit, we love Americans and will take great care of you..." It really surprised me - not that it should, but, it was nice to hear...
Of course, we could always meet at the indoor ski slope in Dubai!! (no joke - they really have one!!)
