Boy, do I understand THAT!

I don't have a herniated disc, but a compressed disc and Sciatica tend to be rather distracting as well.

Understandable!

I like the 45 as well, but don't underestimate the 9mm. As I said, ballistically, it fits right in between the 38 Special and the 357 Magnum.

I run my 9mm handloads in the Beretta at 1250 FPS with a 125 grain bullet. That gives me 434 Foot Pounds of muzzle energy. Standard military hardball in a 1911 has 356 foot pounds of muzzle energy. (230 grain bullet at 835 FPS.)

45 or 9mm? Neither of them are anything to take lightly.

i don't underestimate it. but i AM a better shot by FAR with a .45 compared to a 9mm. i sitll hit with both, but more of a marksman with the .45. maybe its the loads.

I like the .45 I have 2 one is my duty gun a Glock model 21 that I carry. The oother one is a Glock model 30 that I carry off duty as my personal defense gun it has a Jarvis threaded barrel, which I plan to buy another suppressor for with my stimulus check. Both are .45's. I think the .45 is an altogether better round. I was hoping that Jack would eventually go back to a .45 for his "duty" gun. A Glock model 30 would fit very nicely in a SOB holster. I know mine does.

I miss the Stemmering. That sounds like a good gun.

You'd think that Killing people would make them like you, but it doesn't! it just makes people dead.

Could be the gun too. Have you fired them on paper from a rest?
