I didn't watch it because I just can't conceive of watching a movie that has no ending. As far as I know, The Zodiac's identity was never discovered. Most theories have been discounted because the evidence doesn't add up under scrutiny. That's why "Jack the Ripper" stories are JUST as uninteresting.

At least to me.

I haven't seen yet, but I want to. I think the scariest part about Zodiac is that he was a very intelligent man. To get away of about 60 something murders and not be caught. It's scary because there could be many more muderers like him out there that we don't know about. He told the cops about 30 something murders that he commited that they didn't know about.

I'm confused. Who is the Zodiac killer who was caught? Was he just not THE Zodiac? It was a young-looking guy and the only thing they weren't able to figure was how he knew his victims' zodiac sign.

They passed an old woman who was just opening the door of a brown Cadillac. An old man was already sitting in the passenger seat. The car had a personalized plate with the letters “J-U-S-P-R-A-Y”.
“That stuff work?” Israel said to her.
“‘Scuse me?” the little old woman said, clutching her keys.
“The spray. Does it keep them away?”
“Keep who away?” She looked confused.
“I gotcha.” Israel gave her a conspiratorial wink.

OK, I answered my own question. Heriberto Seda was a copycat in New York.

Yeah, there were many copycat's but THE Zodiac was never caught. Although they do have his voice recorded so they could figure who he his by voice pattern since those are as unique as fingerprints.

I am only posting what I heard from some other people. I heard this movie is very long and drags a lot. Not that that will deter me from renting it once it hits Netflix but thats the word from all the weird, hit in the head too many times, people I know.

Go see this movie. It will answer all your questions. And, yes, it does have an ending re the Zodiac's identity.

But what the movie deals with is how many people's lives were destroyed or nearly destroyed trying to find that identity.

This is not a "slasher" movie (though there are some Zodiac killings). It is a drama, a detective story, a news-reporting story.

The film is broken into two parts: The Zodiac's capturing the nation's attention and then disappearing; and two, the political cartoonist's picking up the pieces of the investigation to write his book.

I plan to buy the book when I get the opportunity.

Must-read book. Must-see movie.

Glad you liked it. People and reviewers whose opinions I respect have liked it...alot.

I plan to see it this weekend.

I recommend pleasant.

Watch out for that lengthy viewing time. I entered the theater at 3:25 p.m. and left at 6:30 p.m. Minus the trailers, movie had to be at least 2 hours +.
