Zodiac - ccosborne3 - 03-04-2007 Anybody catch Zodiac over the weekend? Looks like a winner. Zodiac - Auskar - 03-05-2007 ccosborne3 Wrote:Anybody catch Zodiac over the weekend? Looks like a winner.I didn't watch it because I just can't conceive of watching a movie that has no ending. As far as I know, The Zodiac's identity was never discovered. Most theories have been discounted because the evidence doesn't add up under scrutiny. That's why "Jack the Ripper" stories are JUST as uninteresting. At least to me. Zodiac - metllicamilitia - 03-06-2007 I haven't seen yet, but I want to. I think the scariest part about Zodiac is that he was a very intelligent man. To get away of about 60 something murders and not be caught. It's scary because there could be many more muderers like him out there that we don't know about. He told the cops about 30 something murders that he commited that they didn't know about. Zodiac - GeraldRice - 03-06-2007 I'm confused. Who is the Zodiac killer who was caught? Was he just not THE Zodiac? It was a young-looking guy and the only thing they weren't able to figure was how he knew his victims' zodiac sign. Zodiac - GeraldRice - 03-06-2007 OK, I answered my own question. Heriberto Seda was a copycat in New York. Zodiac - metllicamilitia - 03-06-2007 Yeah, there were many copycat's but THE Zodiac was never caught. Although they do have his voice recorded so they could figure who he his by voice pattern since those are as unique as fingerprints. Zodiac - The Mad American - 03-07-2007 I am only posting what I heard from some other people. I heard this movie is very long and drags a lot. Not that that will deter me from renting it once it hits Netflix but thats the word from all the weird, hit in the head too many times, people I know. It will answer all your questions. And, yes, it does have an ending re the Zodiac's identity. But what the movie deals with is how many people's lives were destroyed or nearly destroyed trying to find that identity. This is not a "slasher" movie (though there are some Zodiac killings). It is a drama, a detective story, a news-reporting story. The film is broken into two parts: The Zodiac's capturing the nation's attention and then disappearing; and two, the political cartoonist's picking up the pieces of the investigation to write his book. I plan to buy the book when I get the opportunity. Must-read book. Must-see movie. AC Zodiac - Maggers - 03-09-2007 saynomore Wrote:Go see this movie. It will answer all your questions. I entered the theater at 3:25 p.m. and left at 6:30 p.m. Minus the trailers, movie had to be at least 2 hours +. AC |
