Wow, this thread definetly didn't end the way it started. From the 5000th post to chickens? Only on this board, I tell you.

OK here goes

Fry some bacon (2 oz) & shallots (3 oz) for 5 mins

Add chicken (12 oz) & fry 5 mins

Add 5 fl oz red wine - cook until reduced by half

add 5 fl oz chicken stock, 1 tbl spoon tomato puree, 1 garic clove, 4 oz carrots, 1 bay leaf, leaves from a sprig of tyme & season

simmer 10 mins

fry 3oz mushrooms in butter

add & simmer for 3 more minutes

mix 1 teaspoon of flour with a little butter

mix in casserole with lots of fresh chopped parsley

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you're moving in just to cook and you don't use condiments, he won't mind. Big Grin

Ooops, I almost forgot, he's weird about accents too. I love British accents though, so we'll just have to pretend you're mute whenever he's around.
