I was just thinking back to Legacies and wondered, are Jack's thumbnails still nice and long for...necessary occasions?

Probably are. No need to continuously mention it.

Perhaps I shouldn't, but I always wondered...why thumbs? Aren't your second fingers longer, and so more handy in close quarters because of that fact? It seems to me that to get your thumbs into a good position, you'd have to kind of twist your wrist to strike...maybe. Or is it because the thumbs are stockier and more resistant to breakage?

Anyway, just a thought. Jack's long thumbnails always remind me of Agar's long nails in The Great Train Robbery. Though of course they're for vastly different purposes.

As I see it, your hand would most likely be in the same position it would be in if you were going to shake hands with someone. Of course, you could make a fist and gouge with your thumb.

Yes, your thumbs are shorter, more difficult to grab and break . . . also, they are stronger.

And I already know why they're long; I acknowledged that. What I'm asking is, whatever happened to them? Are they still long? Did he get a manicure? What?

This is the first and only time I've ever mentioned it.

I didn't mean YOU mentioning it . . . I meant no need for FPW to continuously mention it. Sad

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you read is not what I meant. Big Grin
