Lost has been renewed by ABC for next season.

Yes, Marc had said he'd heard the writers were considering ending the show next season. Sounds reasonable. *SOB*

Juliet is a prisoner. She was drugged, albeit willingly, and brought to a super secret place and has been lied to consistently since she arrived, and never allowed to go home. Every once in awhile Ben might feed her a grain of truth, but Ben is a master manipulator. I've never seen the like. As Cobalt suggested, who knows if those were really films of her sister.

At any rate, how fabulous would it be if Juliet, who, herself, has been manipulated beyond belief, can turn the tables on Ben and out manipulate him. I'd love to see that happen. I think she'd love to see that happen. I haven't given up hope that double agent Juliet, who has been scarred for life, literally, by Ben can dupe him in some spectacular way and get her ass off that island.

I can dream, can't I?

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

They're on a magical island where a paraplegic becomes automatically healed and all pregnant woman die (except Claire), one guy can see 108 seconds into the future (sometimes), there is an invisible island right next door, and black smoke makes roaring noises and attacks people.

Exactly why do we watch this show?

I've no idea why you watch the show.

I love it, wholeheartedly.

Hard to TELL...what with all the BOLDFACE and CAPITAL LETTERS. When I see that sort of typeface in electronic media like a board post or an email, it feels to me as though the person is ANGRY or maybe just PISSY.

I wouldn't presume that anyone knew me well, but then, that's just me. I don't know you; I do know that, to my ear, your posts often seem spleenish, to coin a phrase, but perhaps that's due to all the caps.

Apologies. What I wrote wasn't meant to be rude or pissy in any way. I was actually honestly trying to make a joke. Though it evidently isn't funny, I was making fun of us collectively for being so interested in a show that was impossible to explain to non-viewers in a way that made it sound like a reasonable show.

I thought that was funny and that is how I meant it, which is also why I included "we" in my comment. I was making fun of myself as well as anyone else, but as a joke, not intended to harm. I wasn't trying to hurt anyone.
