Hmmm.. you kind of gave me an idea for this rakosh picture. I'll draw it out, scan it, and color it in on the computer but I'll also color in the original with the only medium I have at the moment, which is colored pencil

furin Wrote:Hmm.. I'll just have to flip through Conspiracies and All the Rage and hope I compile enough of a description. Rather have The Tomb to look over, as it has the original looking mother Rakosh in it, but meh.. I'll take what I can get.

The definitive description of a Rakosh is in THE TOMB. Conspiracies and All The Rage have less detailed descriptions.

Also, a couple of others have done drawings of Rakoshi in the past. One of the artists was "animagess." The other artist was Xiao Yu, and below is her interpretation.

I'm looking forward to seeing yours.

Thank you for posting that picture. It actually helps to make sure my thoughts of how it should look are on the right track. I'll hopefully be able to start drawing tomorrow, as I have a rather large free time gap between my classes.

Yes, I'm looking forward to your work, too!

Hope you are not too much influenced by the two pictures

Now that is my idea of a Rakosh! Just as I pictured it in my mind. You can almost "feel" the slime of it's skin.

Kenji.. you are my new best friend for posting that picture..... they are sooooo awesome looking! >.> *saving that onto the computer just cause*

Don't worry the two pictures aren't influencing my Rakoshi. The one I'm drawing has more of a sharkish face (as I recall it described them as having somewhat of a stubby sharklike face) and has more of a lean look to give them more of a human-ish look, as we all know how all but one of the Tomb's Rakoshi came to be >.>. If I get a chance to scan what I have so far I'll show you.
