RJ related drawing - furin - 10-16-2006

I figured I'd put this now, even though I haven't drawn it, but I am planning to draw what I interpret a Rakosh to look like. Sorry if this thread ends up being in the wrong section, I figured rakosh=Repairman Jack related soo......

Anyway, I have to wait till I get my 'The Tomb' back from my nephew (who will hopefully become another RJ fanatic) so I can make sure I fine tune any Rakosh details, unless if anyone can recall in any of the other volumes having a good description of a rakosh. (The only one that seems to click in my head at the moment would be 'All the Rage', but I have to go back and re-read it to make sure)

That's nice! I'm looking forward to your works. Wink

I agree, The Tomb and All The Rage will definitely have the most complete descriptions of the rakoshi.

Also looking forward to your drawing. Smile

Glad some people are looking forward to the drawing. Also, you think Conspiracies would have a good description too? That one part where Jack has the nightmare with the Rakoshi in it, I can't remember if it actually described them or just stated it was the Rakoshi in the dream.

And for those who wanna see how my art is.. http://etheralmoor.deviantart.com/ look there

I don't remember how well the Rakoshi are described in Conspiricies either.

Nice art work! I especially liked the Catboy. Smile

Hmm.. I'll just have to flip through Conspiracies and All the Rage and hope I compile enough of a description. Rather have The Tomb to look over, as it has the original looking mother Rakosh in it, but meh.. I'll take what I can get.

(and glad you like the art)

Hi furin!
Really nice idea. I am excited to see your work!

I looked up your gallery on deviantart (by the way: One of the best pages I know ^^). Amazing. Really nice art! But I would prefer other colours. Do you paint with waterpaint? Looks like...

greet

Unfortunately I don't, used to fiddle around with it and other things like acrylics, but I never really could pick it up well enough. I'm better at acrylics than waterpaints... I would show the one I had done a few years ago but I lost it in a flood.

What a pity! But I am rright that u used waterpaint? Or acrylics? In my eyes they don't look like acrylics, so I am a little bit confused because u wrote that ur're better with acrylics...

I actually used Adobe Photoshop to color those in, its all computer colored. I have used just colors in a real canvas, but haven't done that in more than a few years.
