Xiao-Yu did a very good job of drawing the Rakosh as I imagined it. That's why I saved that particular drawing.

Animagess had a good one too, unfortunately, it's no longer visible on her post, and it's too large for me to download onto the site.

Good! It's interesting to see other people's interpretations.

Quote:The one I'm drawing has more of a sharkish face (as I recall it described them as having somewhat of a stubby sharklike face)

If I remember correctly, FPW described it as having a head like a shark, but with a shortened snout.

Quote:and has more of a lean look to give them more of a human-ish look, as we all know how all but one of the Tomb's Rakoshi came to be >.>. If I get a chance to scan what I have so far I'll show you.

Aside from the hands and feet -- which both had three fingers/toes -- the body was described as looking like a body-builder with an elongated torso.

One of these days, I'll have to do a drawing myself . . . one of these days.

My rakoshi is a lot thinner than a body builder... I never got the image of them being overly buff, as to me it conflicts with the idea of the lithe muscles that rippled as its oily black skin moved.

But here is how my Rakosh looks like as of now

^^ glad you like it even in its early stages of drawing.

I've started formulating some ideas in my head...after I finish this Rakoshi picture.. I want to draw a chew wasp and perhaps even a profile-ish picture of Rasalom (his appearance in Conspiracies... gotta love that armani suit). I'd attempt to try my hand at Jack but I fear out of sheer hilarity I would mosaic his face. Big Grin

Glad you both like it, hopefully when I attempt to color it in via photoshop it'll stay good. I'm also going to attempt to color the original drawing (after its done and scanned) with colored pencil.. can't guarantee that will be good.. my colored pencils are dwindling in size and its really expensive to buy the good kind to replace them.

Hey, if you finish Photoshoping it in the next few days, can I use it in the Virtual Halloween Party? I've got the perfect location and it can even be your costume if you want it to be!

Heh heh, I should be able to. Got plenty of time tomorrow to finish sketching it out (only 2 morning classes) and as I'm only going to be using about 3 colors (not including shading and highlighting effects) on the Rakosh itself (debating on background.. not very good at it) it shouldn't take long.

I would be honored for you to use it, and yeah.. definately be my costume XD
