Where in NYC are you? I'm on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.

Reading is freedom.
The mind soars, no earthly cares,
no limitations.

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Looks like Phantom21 is in Queens. Ossicle is 10020 and I am 10021. Blueman lives just North of me. We're getting crowded! :p

Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes, not need, just feed the war cannibal animal I.. walk the corner to the rubble that used to be a library line up to the mind cemetary now...What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin'. They don't gotta burn the books they just remove 'em. While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells...Rally round the family, pockets full of shells.

Wish I could visit Japan, but I hear it's very expensive. I think Turkey is about the only place I can afford - $2/night family hotels and $10 dinners complete with drinks, wine, appetizers, main course and desert!

I'll bet Japan is beautiful. I've read so much about the mountains, cherry blossum festivals, temples and perfectly landscaped parks. Do you live near the mountains, Kenji?

Yes, some places are beautiful. I don't live near the mountains, but I can see Mt. Fuji in a clear day. Wink

It's been my dream for many years to visit Japan, I received an invitation from the director of an animal research institute there and hope to take her up on the offer within another year or so. I plan to visit the Akita prefecture and see the land of my sweet kids' ancestors Smile

That's me with the Superstion Mountains, and I only live 15 miles from them.
