Just came across this:

Something about that black pool raised the hackles on the back of his neck.

Anybody know what's wrong?

Where else would hackles be? Big Grin Redundancy?

Isn't this from the part when Jack sees the hole in central park. Shouldn't it say "black hole"?

I suspect because Jack is of a rare breed--so manly that not only does he produce only Y-sperm, he has hackles on the =front= of his neck. Mercy!

Not a big sin, Paul--just made things a little more visual.

It's quite possible that the current location of said hackles needed to be specified. Before replacing them on his neck, Jack had taken them out of storage. And, just where does one keep said neck features: in a "hackle box."

He could also have been playing with his "hackle sack" earlier. Who knows?

Start singing "Summer Loven" from "Grease". That should take care of it.
