Anyone seen this Japanese movie (2003, I think)? I saw the cover yesterday in the movie store, but had already picked up The Island and War of the Worlds for my SF festival. Looks sort of like a horror version of Zaitochi.

Anders, you mentioned about this?

I am Japanese, but I didn't know this movie. How did you find out it? Looks cool. If you saw it tell me your thoughts.

By the way, The Island was fun (to me, at least). Wink

Martial arts...sword fights...werewolves?!?!?! I'm sold.

BTW, Kenji, have you seen Musa (Mandarin title: Wu Shi - if that helps). I saw an ad for this movie in a magazine and was wondering if it was as good as the review. Says that it isn't available in the U.S.

Weird timing. I just ran across this article today:

Demand builds to keep eye on "werewolf" killer

Actually, you can pick up Musa at HKFlix and probably many more import shops: http://www.hkflix.com/xq/asp/filmID.5289...etails.htm

Never seen it, but it looks interesting.

Kenji,

I saw the title while browsing for movies at the DVD store. I may rent this, but I doubt my wife will watch it. She'll mark this one down as another one of my weird picks. I see some reviews at http://www.horrortalk.com/reviews/Kibaki...akichi.htm and http://dumbdistraction.com/Reviews/kibakichi.html.

I hope to check it out next week.

I've never seen this movie. I checked it in imdb. This was made in South Korea/China. I don't see Korean movies. These days, Japan is Korean boom. Anytime everybody's talking about Korean actors and movies and TV......I'm fed up! Rolleyes

Well........but, don't get me wrong, Sam. I don't say "Musa" is bad movie. I only said my opinion about general Korean movies. If you have opportunity to see Musa, check it and tell me your thoughts. Smile
