Talk about synchronicity, I just had an email exchange with Elizabeth Monteleone and it's all set: the Borderlands edition will be titled RAKOSHI (no "The"). This will be the first time the book has appeared under the author's title.

That is AWESOME!! I can't wait to pick up a copy. Is it going so say on there somewhere formerly titled The Tomb?

No. We figure anyone buying the Borderlands edition will know, especialy since their website will have a brief quote from me informing people. Also, I'll be doing an author's note / introduction for that edition explaining how the title wound up being changed.

I was e-mailed by Borderlands Press that there is (due to correcting a flaw in the cover) a delay in shipping out the limited edition The Touch. The new release date is Mar. 15. Just that I would spread the word.

This finally swayed me into getting the series. Now all I can do is wait...

I also have belatedly decided to subscribe to the Borderlands series, even as I am trying to acquire hard cover first editions of the originals. I'm wondering whether I can still get matching numbers of all 6 now that the first two are already out. Borderlands website is silent on this question. Also, is it better to get the books through the Overlook Connection since they throw in "The Last Rakosh"? Any answers out there?

They had no problem offering me the same number for all six (137, 37 was taken). And that was yesterday.

I couldn't say, I wasn't aware of this.
