I wouldn't know about valium and prozac, but I've been having the devil of a time finding a decent single-malt cyanide. The ones I've found...hardly any effect at all. Not like in Grandpa's day, when you knew if you paid good money, you'd get a fine blend in return.

Hi Steve,

A quick question, if you don't mind. Have you received CrissCross yet? I saw it was shipped a few weeks back, and previous years it has turned up very quickly, but this year, I'm still waiting. Just wondered if copies are getting to the UK yet.

Cheers

I'm not Steve, but I am a brit on the board who buys Gauntlet RMJs... I got mine last week. so you really should get it any day now, give it another 7 days, and then I'd probably contact Gauntlet about it.

Cheers,

Tom

I got my copy today from Shocklines. I can't wait to jump into it, but I must finish Sanford's new one first (only about 50 pages left).

..... still no sign of mine but I'm told they have shipped. Kev (the Brit ) told me yesterday (Tues) that his had just arrived that morning so ours shouldn't be long - I got the slipcased version so maybe they take longer if the cases get made to order. I bought mine direct thru Gauntlet because of the free chapbook Big Grin

cheers

I think you're right that the slipcased ones were sent a little later. Mine wasn't slipcased and I found it yesterday by my side door, that I never use. God knows how long it had been there, but a fox or cat had decided to leave a present on top of the box. I hope it wasn't a criticism of the book Smile

I need to have words with my postie.

Everyone's a critic.

fpw - why do you get CD to publish your stuff?. I'm sure you're as frustrated as we all are with them. I know you'll be keen to support the smaller presses but CD seem to be consistently the worst of the bunch.

Steve
PS Thanks to everyone for the advice re: Shocklines. I think I'll get all my limiteds through them from now on. I've dealt with Matt a few times now and the service is excellent
PPS Kev - did you sign up for one of the Salem's Lot limiteds? Mail me for details if you missed it
