A pretty cool film but stuffed with fluff. (Would you believe it closes with a long production number?) The blood splatters struck me as odd looking, so I watched one frame at a time and they're all CGI.

I watched the film about 3 weeks ago on movie picks and rather enjoyed it myself. The film has decent action, decent humour and makes the transition into a decent film regardless of culture.

I mused about this film a short time ago, and agree with the FF rating. I FF'd through the entire closing production number, and the cross-dressing geisha dances. Plus the sword fighting scenes are far too short.
I caught part of another Zaitochi movie a week ago on late night TV, with a different actor but similar components of the story. And not a good movie, either.
