Is anyone from here planning to bid on the set of 10 FPW paperbacks? It ends in a few hours and I was going to bid, but would rather not get into a bidding war with another member of the board. I need several of those books, I don't have Soft and Others or Freak Show. I have a copy of Reprisal, but I loaned it to my sister and she all but destroyed it, so I could use a better copy of that one. The copy of Infernal isup to $49 right now, but I don't plan to bid on that one.

That sounds like a real good plan.

Fire away Stacy. I've got all of those, and if you need three of the ten you can always offer the other seven to board members here!

Yup, my family reads FPW too, so it's good to have extra copies, especially considering what happened to my copy of Reprisal! I just placed my bid, wish me luck!

I hope you won. It would be good that if it went to a member here. I wanted to bid but like I said in an earlier post, I'm annoyed that he wouldn't ship to Australia.

I won! Big Grin I'm pretty happy. It went up to $20.51 for the books, plus $6 for shipping. I had a $5 EBay coupon, so it came to about $20 for 10 books that he says are in "mint" condition. Not too bad! I did some looking a couple days ago and the cheapest copy I could find of Reprisal (with shipping) was almos $10. So, this was quite a bargain. I think I'll start reading Soft and Others first!

I recommend pleasant.

Even without the coupon you got a great deal!

Dark Harvest Preview from 1990, signed by Paul, Dean Koontz, and others. Any idea how rare?

I think they gave those away at the 1990 ABA convention. Not too many around I'd think. Certainly very rare with those 4 signatures. I know I haven't signed many.
