Noted Horror Writer Invites Readers Into The Keep.

San Diego, CA (June 21, 2005) The keep had stood empty in the Transylvanian Alps for some 500 years. No one knew who built it, or why. But on the eve of WW II, German soldiers moved in and awoke something—something hungry… something more merciless than the SS einsatzkommandos accompanying them. Author F. Paul Wilson, the creator behind the Adversary Cycle series and Repairman series, adapts his own New York Times bestselling novel. He is joined by artist Matthew Smith (Hellboy) on the first installment of the story that the Providence Journal called, “A battle between good and evil that staggers the imagination, with an ending as exciting as any horror fan could wish!”

Available in September, The Keep #1 will be the first issue of a five-issue miniseries.

Do you have a plan for export to Japan?

If you do, I can get all five-issue miniseries in comics stores....

I don't know about the individual issues, but when they combine them into a graphic novel, I'm sure that will be available.

I'm sure there must be stores in Japan that import american comics. Otherwise maybe one of the members here can get a set for you.

I'm so looking forward to these comics.

I'm reading The Keep now, I'm about 3/4 of the way through, and its one of the best horror novels I've ever read.

I am a huge fan of H. P. Lovecraft's work, and I can definitely see his muse working through F Paul in this novel.

Fantastic work, sir, I'm enjoying it greatly! Big Grin

Superman, Batman, X-Men, Spiderman, etc.....those series are available in Tokyo(i.e. I can get Marvel comic or DC comic). But unfortunately, "The Keep series" are not available in Tokyo.

Fortunately, t4terrific sent The Keep #1 to me, out of kindness (Thanks, T4!).

Very cool touch. I liked it.
