Culled from another thread, but we can always hope.

Reading is freedom.

A Maggers Haiku, 2005

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.
You may quote me.

Big Grin

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

As you stated in one of your early posts, "What I find hysterical is rarely wide accepted." I guess you prooved your point here today.

Thanks for the invite, but I think I'll pass. I've no desire to click your link...and sitting through a Brittney Spears video? Ugh!!!

Is prooved even a word? I don't think it is, but I can't comment until I get official permission from the palace.

You don't need permission to talk to me, and your right, prooved is not a word. Your Jr. high teacher would probably TRY to slap me around for that. My typing skills suck, and half the time, I don't care. Know what I meen?

Yes, I understand your humor. The best part for you is the response from the joke I'm sure. Do you have a good knock knock we might ALL appreciate?

I don't think I have anything you ALL would appreciate and I'm not a big fan of Knock Knock jokes, but I used to be fond of some Mommy Mommy jokes that some of you may remember:

Mommy Mommy, I'm tired of running in circles!

Shut up before I nail your other foot to the floor!
