Marc B. Wrote:I just finished watching this direct-to-video horror film called Dead Birds. If you're a fan of the horror genre this is a film not to be missed. Thanks, Marc. I just put it at the top of my queue. I'm a sucker for a horror movie, especially if someone recommends it to me.
Dead Birds tells the story of a group of soldiers in the late 1800's who rob a bank and are on the run. They hold up in an abandoned home for the night only to be terrorized by the demons that live there.
This film actually gave me quite a few jumps. The general atmosphere is good, acting almost top notch, and although there is a bit of violence the movie strives to give general creeps as opposed to reducing itself to gross-out scare tactics.
If you are looking for a well done low budget independent film, I highly recommend you check out Dead Birds. I doubt very much you'll be disappointed.
