He was in Sleeper, "Men Behaving Badly", Mystery Alaska, Black Hawk Down, and has a new TV series coming out called "Blind Justice"

Ron Eldard - IMDb

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.

Ron Eldard...love him! Always have! A home grown boy (Long Island counts as home) with whom I've shared a sidewalk or two in NYC. I think he's a fine actor but he hasn't gotten the breakout role he needs to be known by the general public. Loved him in "Sleepers."

Definitely but me down as "for."

Years ago my mother used to say to me... "In this world, Elwood, you can be oh so smart or oh so pleasant."
Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I just saw a promo on ABC for a new series called "Blind Justice," starring Ron Eldard! Starts Tuesday. Don't know the time. From what I saw, ever so briefly, he plays a policeman who is blinded in the line of duty and eventually returns to work.

Woo hoo! I'm a happy girl. He's a hottie.

I think Cole Hauser is good for Jack. He is 30 years old, but still okay. Smile

When I originally read the Tomb and in all other subsequent books, I always found myself imagining that Jack looked just like Michael Biehn, but I understand that he's getting to be too old to play Jack now...

I gotta say that I really, REALLY like the idea of Ben Browder playing jack - from his stint on the fantastic Farscape series, he's proven that he can to the heavy stuff (damn fool had me crying like a baby at one point in season 3!), he does tha nuts stuff very convincingly and he also does the humour well too - I think Browder could nail the part of jack no worries. Apart from the fact he is in his (very) early 40's, I think...although he is a young looking 40ish...

Another suggestion...dunno if anyone else has suggested this (there are an INCREDIBLE amount of posts for me to wade through), but how about Michael Vartan from the Alias tv show? I think he could look the part...although he may be a little old for what the movie company want at 38(ish?)

If you come up with someone the group hasn't thought of, then bring them up. Someone's got to be right! Big Grin And I would like to say Welcome to the board!
