We watched it Friday and Saturday. . . . loved it twice! I'm a little excited about the Polar Express, but I love the book so much, I'd hate to see it ruined. I'll find out next weekend!

Finally got in to see this and it was worth the wait. The local theater was still packed after a week, which is very unusual for my little town.

This is the first Pixar movie to actually be a movie, that is, it could have been a nonanimated movie and still worked. And after all my talk about Pixar putting jokes in the background, this movie avoids that in order to concentrate on the characters and action sequences. However, there were dozens of tongue-in-cheek references to comic book heroes and villains, one of my favorites being The Mole Man, complete with giant drill; Mirage was Phoenix-ish, and I'm sure you got Ice Man, Cyclops, Batman, and all the others as well. What a load of fun this movie was for a comic book loving fan like me.

I couldn't agree more, I loved it. I have yet to be disappointed by a Pixar film and The Incredibles is my new favorite among them. It has all the elements of the previous Pixar successes- it is funny, visually stunning, and well-written, but I think the action sequences move it to the head of the class. All the characters were fantastic, but I thought Elastigirl was the best. They really stretched her into some great situations.

My favorite part was the fight in the jungle. I also thought the 'no-capes' bit was hilarious.

I have seen both "The Incredibles" and "Polar Express". Incredibles was great, but I found the "special effects/animation" in Polar Express over-engineered and caught me a little over-whelmed. Of course, alot of movies (with too much emphasis on the special effects) has that effect on me. I am very tempted to tell you to avoid the movie so the magic of the book will remain with you...

I saw the movie this evening and really enjoyed it. This is excellent! I saw a lot of Pixar movies, but The Incredibles is the best. You know why? This is the first human characters. Until now, Pixar made the characters of Toys, Fishes, Monsters, Bugs. But The Incredibles are human, and they are all super hero, and family. I really liked it. Wink

I'm hoping to check it out and went into this thread looking for feedback. From the trailers, I expected something that was going to jumble up themes with action, but from the reviews it's not going to do that, so I'll gosee.

It does not matter if our answers disagree, as over time the game will change its answers to reflect common knowledge. If you feel that the game is in error, the only way to fix it is to play again.

I recommend pleasant.

I really enjoyed it a lot.
