Kruge is hanging on for his life and Kirk, really truly dearly not wanting to, forces himself to do the Good Guy thing and reach his hand out to save him. And when Kruge tries to pull Kirk over with him, Kirk snaps! "I. . .have had. . .enough. . .of YOU!" A beautiful and under-appreciated moment for Shatner.

Amen, brother. Shatner's had some brilliant scenes. Remember in the Original Trek, TOMORROW IS YESTERDAY? Where Kirk explains to Captain Christopher why the bold F-104 pilot =can't= go back. Man, that was fine acting. To my mind, anyway. Awright, Saglaser--you call yourself a Trekker man? In which episode did Bones say, "Damn you, Spock--I'm not beaming up without Jim!"

And, another great moment was....
When David Marcus(Kirk's son) was killed by Klingon, after the moment, Savick said, "Captain, David is dead". Then, Kirk stunned, slowly fell down.
Kirk screamed, "Klingon's....bastard!!!".
That was memorable moments in this movie.
