I cannot believe anyone would consider Ashton Kutcher for the role of
Repairman Jack. Jason Biggs??? Topher Grace??? Colin Hanks??? Give me a break!!!
As far as I can see there is no mid-twenties actor that fits the role of
Repairman Jack.
Why not just have that guy who plays Fez on "That 70's Show"? (I'm
kidding).
In the words of Hank Hill: "Why not just go all the way and give me a cat
and a sex change operation!"

Why not have Trey Parker and Matt Stone do the film, but with puppets and
plenty of explsions. (Heh, heh, heh). You'd probably have Abe (like Kim il Jong) sounding suspiciously a lot like Cartman.

Seriously, though, it's a shame that the actor's age rules out Edward Norton, Kiefer Sutherland, Matt Damon, or others who could probably carry off the
role. At least FPW said it wasn't Frankie Muniz!.

Oh!!! I've just had another horrifying thought! Maybe Satan himself is
running this film and will cast McCaulley Culkin (Home Alone) in the role
of Repairman Jack. If that happens I can't see Glaeken ever being able
to defeat Rasalom. The "otherness" would bcome too strong to be defeated.

I have said it before and I will no doubt keep saying it until I bore you all to death but THIS (to my mind) is Jack! And he is a fine actor too, older than 30 though......

With the filming taking place in Shanghai and the backstory being altered accordingly, shouldn't we be considering Asian actors for those two roles?

Does the actor HAVE to be 26 yrs old? How many older actors are playing much younger parts?

my aunt actually introduced me to Jack to begin with, now I am a huge fan!

I am new to the boards, but when I read The Tomb, Edward Norton came to mind as my perfect Repairman Jack.

No one can convince me of any of these new, younger, hipper actors being a better Jack, than Edward could.
