OMG...I could totally see Nathan Fillion as Jack. He's got that perfect smart-mouth attitude and the decent, but not-too-pretty-boy looks that could easily pull it off. I'd vote for him, hands down.

Yeah. Somebody else brought him up, but after seeing Firefly and Serenity, I thought Nathan Fillion would be perfect!

With Elizabeth Mitchell as Gia:

I predict that anyday now we'll receive word that Nathan Fillion is playing Jack

Cthulhu for President!

Why vote for a lesser evil? I can think of none better than the great old one, who should return from his slumber to take over the U.S. government and make this country a whole hell of a lot better as the leader of our executive branch. Or destroy it and drive everyone insane, kill us all, or something really nasty! Remember, Cthulhu for President, why vote for the lesser of two evils? Wink

You got my vote. I think she'd be perfect. Click on Ken's link (above) if you don't recognize her name. Actually, she was in the Gia movie starring Angelina Jolie.

Elizabeth Mitchell is Juliet in LOST. I associate her with LOST so strongly, I'm not sure I could see her as Gia. She's got a quasi-annoying quality about her, at least she does on LOST, that I wouldn't want to see in Gia.

Well, for years I was smart.
I recommend pleasant.

I always pictured Charlize Theron as Gia and John Candy as Abe but i don't think the latter could do it. Also I think it would be cool to see FPW as Jack's dad.

I doubt that Candy is available to play Abe. He's been seriously handicapped in his acting career ever since he overdosed and died.

In a few days, it will have been twenty years since I last saw a program on television, so I can't comment on LOST. The only thing I have ever seen her in was The Santa Clause 2. That's when I began to think that she would be a good choice to play Gia.
