It sure is, and I wish I'd thought of it, but I gotta give credit to our Noelie for that one. She used it in reference to Sean W. Scott a couple of pages back. Wink

I wonder if A.K. ever visited here and checked out this thread. Just in case... A.K., I'm sure you're a heckuva guy and all that, so no offense intended - we just couldn't see you as Jack. Smile

I think its too bad Daniel Craig became Bond (although he's been the first Bond that I would be scared of). I think he'd have been a good Jack. He has the build, the intensity and the menace. And he's not too over-the-top good looking. He's a good everyman, in a way.

For the lists that exist to date, I'm going with Edward Norton (I see him more like American History X build), Ryan Reynolds (have to rein in the smartass thing a little, however much I love it), Christian Bale (genius actor who's done physical), Cole Hauser (underrated and hasn't broken out yet) and Mark Wahlberg (I really liked him in The Departed).

It's an 88 magnum. It shoots through schools.

Nice list, LD. I'd love to see Mark Wahlberg as Jack.

I recommend pleasant.

Oh, yeah! Mark Wahlberg is good for Jack! Except for Cole Hauser. :p

I also think Wahlberg would be great. He's come a long way since he started acting and has proven himself to have a lot of talent. Still, it's not a criticism, but I can't help thinking.... "Jacky Jack"? Big Grin

If I had to go second string I'd definitely like to see Christian Bale consider it (though I hear he's on tap for another Batflick) or maybe Jonny Lee Miller who I dont think has been mentioned yet in these threads -he was in Mindhunters & Dracula 2000 here's his bio : http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/contributo...019264/bio

I need to be able to see big-oak-furniture hoarding, cat-with-the-flicking -eyes-and-swishing-tail-clock hanging, wuppet (or rascals) buying, orange- mouth mugging, Mooney mouthing Jack. Its what makes him so appealing.

Sign the contracts already!!!!!!! While we're young!!!!!!!

Susan,

Your question was in the alternative, so we can't be absolutely sure that it was Ashton Kutcher. Paul responded: "Was and am". So I'll reframe the question:

Paul: Were you serious that the RJ actor's initials are AK?
