bc Kenji mentioned cole Hauser and said The Cave was the worst movie ever.

Kramerica will get this one- Reynolds is definitely SpongeWorthy, I'd go just to see him in action. and yes, FPW, he did have great lines in "Blade-Trinity"- especially his reaction to the vampire Pomeranian!

Maybe someone needs to resummarize what is going on or restart the thread. I quit reading the thread long ago because the actor who was interested in the role was " he who must not be named under penalty of death" and everything seemed "stuck" in that position. No forward progress, no backward progress.

Now, evidently "he who must not be named under penalty of death" is no longer involved, but there has also been some forward progress on the Repairman Jack movie. I didn't know there was a new "he who must not be named under penalty of death."

I was never real sure who should play Jack. I thought Jensen Ackles from Supernatural might be good, but now in my head, when I read Jack, I see the guy who played Dexter - Michael C. Hall.

I do think Ryan Reynolds would be good as well.

But it's not Cole Hauser's fault. "The Cave" was C-class monster movie. His another movie, "Paparazzi" was pretty good!

Yes, indeedy. That's actually the role that made me go, "Hmm... Jack?" Then I went back and watched The Amityville Horror; while it's not a great role or anything, it certainly proved that he is capable of rage and not just wonderful sarcasm. Wink

How many vikings does it take to change a light bulb?

None. The light from the burning monastery is more than sufficient.

Ryan Reynolds - I like him for Jack... a lot.
Mark Wahlberg - Not bad, not my first choice.
Ed Norton - Will always be my first choice, would die of shock though.
Matt Damon - Eh. I like him, but eh.
Stuart Townsend - Too frail looking.
Thomas Jane - Also a good choice.
Matt McConaughey - Meh.
Christian Bale - Ok, but not likely, imo.
Daniel Craig - Also not likely. James Bond, yes. Jack, no.
Colin Farrell - Ew.
Hugh Jackman - Maybe.
Toby Maguire - Still looks like a kid, imo.
Orlando Bloom - Far, far too pretty.
Nathan Fillion - Could see him as Jack, no problem.
Cole Hauser - Same as Nathan Fillion
Jensen Ackles - No opinion
Dominic West - No opinion
Leo DiCaprio - I love grown up Leo, but no.
Jude Law - Too pretty.
Sean W. Scott - Dude, where's my Rakosh?
Michael Vartan - Maybe.

Those are my thoughts. Big Grin

I didn't want to be the first to say it. Lacked courage, I guess.
