Looks like you touched a live wire.

metllicamilitia Wrote:Well, I didn't read the whole topic just the first page but, I think Ashton Kutcher could pull of Jack. Have you seen the Butterfly Effect? He does a very good job at that serious role. He spent two months getting "into" his characters head. I do think that he would make a good Jack after getting "into" his head.

Edit: I realize that may sound harsh, but that's how much I despise Ashton Kutcher. Wink

Maggers Wrote:I don't want to kill you, Noelie, and I don't want you to kill you either, over such a nincompoop as Ashton Kutcher. Let's kill him, or at least kill the possibility that he could EVER be Jack, 'cuz he can NEVER be Jack.

Yeah, don't even say that name to me. Not that I condone murder or anything like that, but let's kill Ashton Kutcher.

PLUS, it makes more sense to err on having a younger actor because "just in case" there are sequels, there is probably two or three years between movies -- which, for example, is why we are currently on our sixth actor playing James Bond.

Unless I miscounted.
  • Sean Connery
  • George Lazenby
  • Roger Moore
  • Timothy Dalton
  • Pierce Brosnan
  • Daniel Craig

Quite honestly, considering how long it's taking to maybe get 1 RJ movie, I'm not worried about sequels. We can drive off that bridge when we get to it. Sad

I must continue to beat my own dead horse. Nathan Fillion, ass-kicking regular guy. I'd have a Shiner Bock with that guy any day.

I don't often comment in the "actor to play Jack" threads, but I've got to say that I think he'd be a great choice. It hadn't occurred to me, but he looks very much like an ordinary, everyday guy, and he can handle action well. He's got my vote. Smile

I am wildly crazy about Nathan Fillion. I think he'd be an awesome Jack, providing the movie is done sometime in his lifetime.

Hey, we shouldn't knock it. Maybe that's a way to keep FPW writing RJ stories, of a sort. He's doing the young adult RJ. In a far distant future, he could do a Geriatric Jack series. Big Grin
