This thread is from a tangent discussion in the EQUILIBRIUM thread -- which was a GREAT movie. You can read that thread and see how we got into this discussion, but so far people have listed the following as sequels that should never have been made:

The Hidden 2
Highlander 2
Species 2
The Sting 2
Ghostbusters 2
Caddyshack 2
Indiana Jones 2 (Temple of Doom)

I think I got them all.

I'm interested in additional comments and nominees for the list!

City Slickers2....(I was disappointed to Jack Palance. He was good role in first one. Sad )

Sister Act2....(Woopie Goldberg is school teacher? C'mon! Gimme a break)

Speed2.....(I couldn't feel the speed)

Starship Troopers 2.....(I can't say anything. Totally worst!)

Gotta disagree about Temple of Doom.

I also loved the Temple of Doom. I liked it better than the 3rd one (they kind of made Sean Connery a wimp in that one).

But I did like Sister Act 2.

The rest of them, true, can go in the garbage!

I side with Jimbo on this one. The twelve year old that saw it loved it, the thirty two year old cringes at some of it.

One for discussion in Orlando, methinks.

The Last Crusade was great. I like it better than The Temple of Doom. Kate Capshaw was too noisy. But I liked two scenes....Opening musical scene, and trolley chase in a tunnel. That was fun.

Though not true sequals, how about the few James Bond movies starring Timothy Dalton? One of them was License Renewed or something along those lines and had Wayne Newton as an evil televangelist drug lord. Timothy Dalton actually manages to get a semi into a wheelie in that movie!

Please God, erase that one from existence...

and while we're at it...
Grease 2
Jaws 3 (in 3-D)
Arthur 2 (I honestly think this was a movie...though I can't say I remember much about it...Dudley Moore and Liza Minelli living in poverty?)

I better stop here...seems I could go on and on....

Though not a "true" wheelie. They hinged the back of the truck in order to do that stunt. Watch and see that both rear axles remain on the ground. I believe it was all hydraulic (?).

The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents. ... The piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new dark age.
