Au contraire (impressed by my French?), I don't know Jack's last name because I've never given him one. This reserves a little of his mystery for me. (I haven't decided the sex of the baby either.)

So you're telling me it's not Bergschneider, then? Damn! There goes a bet I had!

Okay, not really.

Victors hang in pictures, losers from ropes.
Regardless they all swing in the same boat.

Ooh, another mystery! At least until you decide and she has the baby. Personally, I'd like to see Gia have another daughter. It would be so charming to see Jack with his baby girl and Vicky with her little sis. It could also make for some interesting moments with a houseful of women and Jack Big Grin

In Gateways Jack says his last name, but that's the way FPW wrote it: Jack told the nurse his last name--or something like that (I don't have a copy as reference at the moment).

When I'm reading the book, his name is Jack Asakura.........Nah! Never! Big Grin :p

Anyway, someday we will know his last name. I hope so.

Hmmm. Jack R? Doesn't really have a great ring to it?! Big Grin

Well, can't really say I've applied my last name to ol' Jack. It would sound...wrong. Jack Hall. Ugh. Bad name there.

Better than Jack Schmidt. His friends always say, "You don't know Jack Schmidt!"

P.S. I've never wanted to give R. Jack a last name. To me, he's "Jack. Just Jack."

P.S.S. This coming from a guy who tends to go by the name "dejo" and not his real name.
