I like the song "GOING HOME" by Mary Fahl from "GODS AND GENERALS"-one of my favorite films. The use of that song over the Main Credits at the start
is outright haunting and evokes the terrible conflict that is going to start.

Lately I've really liked listening to "The Fountain" soundtrack by Clint Mansell.

I just listened to About A Boy by Badly Drawn Boy last night and I'd forgotten how excellent it is-just a great album period. I also love the So I Married An Axe Murderer soundtrack. Open Season is pretty good too.

I've been having some fun with my burner- as I love old film scores-and I inserted dialoug bits, in seq. as in the film, with the wonderful rerecordings of the original "KING KONG" and "THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN".
Great listening experiance!

Mais oui, mon old vieux. I did a couple of years ago in a similar thread. I howled to the couldn't-care-less stars, "Elmer is =better= than Lenny! There! I said it! And I'm glad I did!" Since that outburst, my life has improved in every way.Cool

I won't say I've never owned a soundtrack, because in my life I have owned three.... In my much younger days I had an LP of An American Tale.... now I currently own two, The Saint, and Queen of the Damned.

Which version of "THE MAGNIFICENT 7"- The Ryko disc original or the beautiful rerecording (that Bernstein himself praised!)?
Also, "LAST OF THE MOHICANS" ( I combined both the original and the new expanded version on cd)
"GOJIRA" Akira Ifukube
"THE VIKINGS"
MONSTROUS MOVIE MUSIC" vol. 1&2 (Great suite from "GORGO")
