I got the Secret Stories collection for Christmas. All of the stories except for "Cleaning Machine" are listed in the Secret History chronology, and are presented in the collection in that order. So the placement of "Cleaning Machine" between "Faces" and "The Barrens" narrows it down. At this point, shouldn't it be given an official slot in the chronology?

I included "The Cleaning Machine" in Secret Stories because it involves one of the 7 Infernals. I'm not exactly sure when it happens and the story has no impact on other stories in the Secret History (although neither does "Pelts" for that matter), so I don't think it matters. It shares a common framing sequence and character -- Detective Burke -- with "Menage a Trois" (which is directly related to Sibs) which I don't have listed either. Trying to list the chronology of every related story will lead to madness, I am sure.
