fear city will be out in PB this fall. Do those of you who have read the entire series think I should save it for after nightworld or go ahead and read it before I finish the main series?
If you had the choice as I do, how would you rather spend your last adventure with jack?

I'm reading the main series in the month each book occurs, so I wont be reading night world until next May. I've got some time to ponder this, just thought I'd get some opinions

Save NIGHTWORLD until last. Anything else would be anticlimactic.

You're waiting until the matching month to read books that available and by FPW? There is no kind way to say this... Are you nuts???!!!!!!! You have the amazing control and patience of a vulture waiting for something to die, and that's admirable, but how can you? I don't mean you have to sit down and read everything straight through (although I would), but to just sit around and ignore something so wonderful when it's in your hands? I know I'm an antsy nag, but there should be some middle ground. How about this, if you go read in an orderly, systematic, and continuous fashion, I'll give FPW a couple of months nag-free to work on Nocturnia's book two. What do you say?

By coincidence I read the tomb in late summer 2013. Once I finished I started researching the series. I learned about the adversary cycle and the secret history of the world. I found the list that shows the SHOTW taking place over a three year period. I thought it would be fun to spend three years working my way through it. You must understand, This is far and away the BEST series I have ever read. If I were to plow through it in a month or two I would probably just be upset that it's over. This way I'm experiencing the story in real time.
Now, I'm only sticking to the three year plan when it comes to the main series and the adversary cycle. In my down time I've read the YA jack books and the lenague federation as well as some of his short stories.

I left the YA books for later. It serves a a tidy way to satiate the addiction by learning the end, then going back to see how it all started.

I'd go ahead and enjoy it now. You already know where Jack is headed since you are well into the series so it will fill in areas you've already explored vs moving the story forward.

You could also save it if you prefer. I don't think either way has a particular advantage unless you are trying not to run out of Jack go read!

Either way you have some exciting reading ahead of you!

I think I'll go ahead and read it when the paperback comes out. I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for the advice everyone
