My wife is currently tearing through the whole Repairman Jack series, unfortunately she's stumbled while reading Fatal Error.

Slight Spoiler...

The torture (or apparent torture) of Munir's family has quite affected her- the fact that we have a 10 month old boy doesn't help. She's half mad at me since I didn't warn her about it- I plowed through the series last year, but for the life of me can't remember if the mutilation and torture were actually true.

Anyway, can anyone tell me if I should tell her it's safe for her to continue? The main issue is the health of Munir's son.
