Will 'A Necessary End' be available as a stand alone novel at some point soon? As much as I'd like to buy the Maelstrom IV set I just can't afford it right now. Thanks for any info.

pre Turkey-Day sales meeting, so that's what it will be. That means Paul Ramplin

This will be the only hardcover edition. Eventually a tpb and ebook, but not till sometime after the limited is sold out (which should not take long).

A Necessary End
is a short novel (52k words or so) which was a bit slim for a trade publisher, so we're taking the small press route. We wrote it in sections (sometimes she'd write Nigel and I'd write Abby, then we'd switch off and I'd take Nigel and she'd take Abby), then we'd rewrite each other. The result is like something written by a third person.

Sarah is very talented -- quite popular in the UK and growing over here. She's had one signed limited 1st in the past (a novella) and I think this hardcover will be quite collectible.

Okay, thanks for the info. I might look again into the finances. But if it's Maelstrom IV or feeding The Kids you might miss out.... for now, at least.

Are there no work camps, or prisons?

Yeah, the kids won. But don't worry, I'll make sure they feel guilty about it.
